Just some sample videos from past projects. Enjoy!
Demo Reel June 2012.
Glimpses of Heaven. I was the Director of Photography for this piece, and operated camera for nearly the entire shoot. Colton Burpo has an amazing story, and a best-selling book to go with it.
NeverWet. I was contracted by Ross Nanotechnology to create a full videographics package for the release of their new product, NeverWet. This is just a small sample of the package I created, a quick logo open.
Maria Walker-Williams. This is a piece shot in Lancaster, TX about a woman who was helped by Operation Blessing. I shot some of this, produced it, and did all the post production.
Extreme Seal Experience. CBN News Reporter Chuck Holton, a former Army Ranger, recently went on a mission to find out if SEAL training was as tough as many say it is. I got to shoot it. This was shot in Chesapeake, VA at Extreme SEAL Experience, a camp run by former SEALs. It gives guys a small taste of what Basic Underwater Demolition School is really like.
Kids Hope USA. I was asked by a friend to make a videographics package for a series of Kids Hope USA spots.
The Denver Street School. I shot this back in the winter of 2010. The Denver Street School was really accomodating, and it was neat to see all the needed work they’re doing in inner city Denver.
The Man, the Mosquito, and the Mission. Statistics show a child dies from malaria every 30 seconds. The startling numbers have fueled the work of Dr. Thomas Kollars, a classically trained musician and epidemiologist. He works out of his humble lab in Savannah, GA.
James Taylor, Freed From Brokenness. I helped DP and shoot this story in Portsmouth, VA. James was a kind guy, and he certainly has a powerful story. Lionel Harris produced the story for our 700 Club Interactive show.
210 Project. I was contracted by the 210 Project to create a custom ending to a promotional video. This was the result!
An Afternoon Kayaking. We took out our new GoPro camera to see how it would handle an afternoon of kayaking adventures. No color correction was done, just straight from camera.
Halal. I spent two weeks in France shooting undercover footage in Halal butcher shops. This story is a result.
Tornadoes in Deltaville, VA. I went with Efrem Graham to Deltaville, VA to cover the damage after a tornado passed through this small town. This package was turned in less than four hours: shooting, editing, and FTP. It aired in select markets at 9AM, and then on ABC Family at 10AM.
A High Altitude Colorado Christmas. After shooting a marketing spot in and around Colorado Springs, CO, I had some left over footage. So, in good Christmas spirit, I put together this montage with familiar audio. Shot with a 5D MKII and a pocket dolly. Temperatures were in the teens with a wind chill around zero. Hope you enjoy watching it half as much as I did shooting it.
Hurricane Earl. This was a news piece shot and edited in the field during Hurricane Earl, which hit the Outer Banks area of North Carolina. We arrived the day before it hit and stayed awake for 48 hours shooting and editing footage. My first time covering a hurricane.
No Liddin’. This is a spoof trailer meant to mock extreme lifestyle-sport documentaries. I helped make this at Bluefish TV while I was a field Producer. I shot about half of it and helped produce it. Chad Madden did the editing and graphics. Bluefish retains all rights for the clip.
Declare Hope. A 30 second spot produced in partnership with Focus on the Family and Operation Unite. The spot aired in commercial markets across Kentucky. The spot was written by Focus on the Family, and I did all the 3D graphic work.
Amazing Grace. The story behind the hymn Amazing Grace, as told through the eyes of a painter on canvas. Produced, shot, and edited by me. I helped create the 3D graphics, but Chad Madden of Bluefish TV put the graphic together in the final stages.
Shot for a week long film festival in Burbank, CA called the 168 Project. It’s a Christian film contest where you have a week to create a film based on an assigned Bible verse. Ours was Hebrews 12:7. We ended up winning Best Screenplay.
The Marcellus Shale. I spent three days traveling throughout Pennsylvania, shooting this story on the Marcellus Shale, an underground natural gas formation the size of Greece. IT sits under most of PA. Opinions vary on the effect that drilling has on the environment and locals.
